Σε ενδιαφέρει η Ευρωπαϊκή πολιτική για θέματα νεολαίας;

Θέλεις να έχεις ενεργό ρόλο στις διαδικασίες λήψεως αποφάσεων;

Θέλεις να εκφράσεις την άποψη σου για αυτά που σε απασχολούν και να έχεις την ευκαιρία να ταξιδέψεις στο εξωτερικό για να γνωρίζεις άλλους νέους;

Τότε δήλωσε συμμετοχή για την Ομάδα «Youth Ambassadors» του Συμβουλίου Νεολαίας Κύπρου (ΣυΝΚ).

Εισαγωγή

Το Συμβούλιο Νεολαίας Κύπρου (ΣυΝΚ), ως η μοναδική πλατφόρμα εκπροσώπησης των μη κυβερνητικών οργανώσεων νεολαίας στη Κύπρο (κομματικών και μη) αλλά και ως συντονιστής της Εθνικής Ομάδας Εργασίας για τον Διαρθρωμένο Διάλογο, θα υλοποιήσει το πρόγραμμα «Youth Ambassadors for Youth Participation and Structured Dialogue».

Το συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα, το οποίο συγχρηματοδοτείτε από την Εθνική Υπηρεσία Προγράμματος Νεολαίας σε Δράση και εντάσσεται στη Δράση 5.1 - Συναντήσεις νέων και αρμοδίων της πολιτικής για τη νεολαία, αποσκοπεί αφενός στη δημιουργία της ομάδας νέων «Youth Ambassadors» και αφετέρου στην υλοποίηση της δράσης του Διαρθρωμένου Διαλόγου σε όλη την Κύπρο. Το πρόγραμμα εκκίνησε τον Μάιο του 2013 και θα ολοκληρωθεί το τέλος Ιουνίου 2014.

Ο Διαρθρωμένος Διάλογος με τους Νέους και τις Οργανώσεις Νεολαίας, είναι μια Ευρωπαϊκή διαδικασία που δίνει τον λόγο στους νέους για τα θέματα που τους αφορούν. Για περισσότερες πληροφορίες εδώ

Στόχοι Ομάδας

Η Ομάδα νέων «Youth Ambassadors» είναι ανοικτή για όλους τους νέους της Κύπρου, ανεξαρτήτως εθνικής καταγωγής και κοινωνικού υπόβαθρου και αποσκοπεί στην ενεργότερη εμπλοκή των νέων στα κοινά και συγκεκριμένα στη δράση του Διαρθρωμένου Διαλόγου.

Επίσης στοχεύει στην ενίσχυση των γνώσεων για την ΕΕ, την ανάπτυξη κοινωνικών και ηγετικών δεξιοτήτων αλλά και την καθοδήγηση και ενδυνάμωση των νέων για να δράσουν πιο αυτόνομα στο πλαίσιο του Διαρθρωμένου Διαλόγου.

Η Δράση της Ομάδας

Η δράση της Ομάδας νέων «Youth Ambassadors» θα επικεντρωθεί τόσο στην ενεργότερη και πιο συμμετοχική υλοποίηση του Διαρθρωμένου Διαλόγου με τους νέους, όσο και στη γενικότερη εμπλοκή των νέων στα κοινά μέσω εκπαιδευτικών και ενημερωτικών, αλλά πάντα διασκεδαστικών, συναντήσεων και συνεδρίων, με την χρήση τεχνικών μη τυπικής μάθησης. Αριθμός μελών της ομάδας επίσης θα έχει την δυνατότητα να λάβει μέρος στην Ευρωπαϊκή Σύνοδο Νεολαίας που διοργανώνεται από την εκάστοτε προεδρεύουσα χώρα του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ, εφόσον το επιθυμεί.  

Οι νέοι που θα επιλεγούν πρέπει να είναι σε θέση να λάβουν μέρος σε όλη τη δράση της Ομάδας.

Ποίοι μπορούν κάνουν αίτηση

Όλοι οι νέοι της Κύπρου 15 – 35 ετών μπορούν να εκδηλώσουν ενδιαφέρον για την συμμετοχή τους στην ομάδα αποστέλλοντας το βιογραφικό τους σημείωμα (CV) μαζί με ένα σύντομο συνοδευτικό κείμενο που θα περιγράφει τα κίνητρα και στόχους τους.

Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να στείλουν τις αιτήσεις τους μέχρι και την Κυριακή 18 Αυγούστου 2013 στο info@cyc.org.cy

Press Release – Call for Applications for CYC Group of «Youth Ambassadors»

Are you a youth between 15-35 years old?

Are you interested in European youth policy?

Do you want to play an active role in decision-making process?

Do you want to voice your opinion about what to employ and have the opportunity to travel abroad and meet other young people?

Then don’t hesitate and apply for the Cyprus Youth Council’s (CYC) «Youth Ambassadors» Group.

Introduction

The Cyprus Youth Council (CYC) as the only platform of representation of non-governmental youth organizations in Cyprus (political party affiliated or not) and as the chair of the National Working Group for the Structured Dialogue, will implement the programme «Youth Ambassadors for Youth Participation and Structured Dialogue».

This program, which is funded by the National Agency for Youth in Action program (Action 5.1 - Meetings of young people and those responsible for youth policy), aims both at establishing the group «Youth Ambassadors for Youth Participation and Structured Dialogue» as well as the implementation of the action of the Structured Dialogue across Cyprus. The program which started in May 2013 has a scope until the end of June 2014.

Structured Dialogue with young people and youth organizations, is a European process that voices the concerns of youth on the issues that concern them.

Objectives of the Group

The new Group «Youth Ambassadors » is open to all young people of Cyprus, regardless of ethnic origin and social background, striving for more active participation of youth in public life with emphasis on Structured Dialogue.

It also aims to enhance knowledge about the EU, the development of social and leadership skills and guidance and empowerment of young people to act more autonomously within the Structured Dialogue.

The Action of the Group

The action of the «Youth Ambassadors» will mainly focus both on active and more participatory implementation of Structured Dialogue with young people, as well as the greater social participation of young people through capacity building and entertaining training activities,  meetings and conferences that are designed using non-formal education methods .

Also a number of the Youth Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to take part in the European Youth Summit organized by each presiding country of the EU Council, if it they desires.

Young people chosen should be able to take part in all the actions of the group.

Who can make an application

All Cyprus youth between 15-35 years  are eligible for participating in the group by sending their CV along with a brief cover note describing the motivation and goals.
